《米砂原医院》是第一视角的单机探索恐怖游戏。
将重点放在探索废弃的“米砂原医院”，通过寻找各种线索，揭开“米砂原医院”发生的事件真相。
・故事
1978年，医院因院长的突然失踪而停业。
10年后，搜查相关人员接到了一通电话，让故事又发生了巨大波折。
院长到底出了什么事？
前往废弃医院追查过去发生的失踪事件。
・游戏舞台
参考了日本的各种废弃建筑而制作的废弃医院。
・即使不擅长恐怖也可以放心玩的废墟探索模式
设置了完全没有恐怖元素的废墟探索模式，让不擅长恐怖游戏的玩家也能享受到游戏乐趣。
可以在早、中、晚三个时段和各种不同的情况下探索废墟。
在废墟探索模式中，可以使用相机功能拍摄废墟照片。
